More sensitive CAR-T positive cell detection

Why do we detect CAR-T positive cells?
For CAR-T cells, the effective ingredient for tumor killing is CAR positive T cells. In addition, the number of CAR-T positive cells of patients is closely related to clinical effectiveness and clinical side effects.

What is the mechanism for detecting CAR-T positive cells?
At present, the most commonly used technique in clinical is flow cytometry, which is based on the specific combination of antigen and antibody, and excites a fluorescent group to produce a fluorescent signal, thus allows the identification of positive cells.
